UNB Libraries is pleased to offer students, faculty and staff access to the ProQuest Historical Newspapers database which includes full-text and full-image articles for newspapers dating back to the 19th century.

Taylor & Francis E-Journals

Our UNB and STU communities now have online access to the complete collection of Taylor & Francis e-journals (currently over 1200 peer-reviewed e-journals). The electronic journals cover many disciplines including the Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. This new acquisition was made possible by UNB Libraries

Extended Hours At UNB Libraries

Learning Commons – Phase Two Underway

Renovations are underway on the main floor of the Harriet Irving Library in order to make way for new group study rooms.

Quiet study space for students is available on the 4th floor of HIL. Our Engineering and Science libraries also offer study space.

Birthday Suit: From Short Story To Movie

UNB Libraries invites you to attend the 16th Milham Lecture, “Birthday Suit: From Short Story to Movie”, on Wednesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kent Auditorium, Wu Conference Centre. This year’s lecture will be presented by Dr. Roger Moore, 3M Teaching Fellow and Professor of Spanish at St. Thomas University.

Renovations begin on March 7 in the Harriet Irving Library to make way for new group study rooms. The area affected is on the main floor and includes the Demo Room and adjacent offices.

ScienceDirect Maintenance (Mar. 11)

Please note that maintenance has been scheduled on the ScienceDirect platform for Sunday March 11, 2007 and will result in some system downtime.

It is anticipated that ScienceDirect will be unavailable for approximately 7 hours beginning at 02:00 AM AST. This is to adjust the system to take account the change to Daylight Savings Time in the United States.

New Document Delivery Login

Beginning Monday March 5, 2007, Document Delivery users accessing the request forms directly through the UNB Libraries’ website (//www.lib.unb.ca/requests/docdel/) will no longer login using their barcode as verification. Instead patrons will be directed to login through the standard UNB Libraries’ login page using their emailID and password.
