House Of Commons Parliamentary Papers (HCPP) Database

Access is now available to Britain’s House of Commons Parliamentary Papers (during the 19th and 20th centuries). Papers in this database offer some of the richest and most detailed primary sources not only covering the historical record of Britain over the past two centuries, but also former Colonies and the wider world.

Commons Enters Final Phase

The Harriet Irving Library (HIL) is undergoing the final phase of its Learning Commons renovation. This last stage of the project, which will continue over the summer months, will see the current Circulation Desk and Periodical Reading Room areas transformed into a commons for research, learning, and sharing of ideas.

LIVE Closes Temporarily

As renovations for a Learning Commons in the Harriet Irving Library enter their third and final phase, LIVE, UNB Libraries’ online reference service, will be unavailable temporarily from May – August 2007. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

HIL Audio-Visual Relocation

Due to renovations for HIL’s new Learning Commons, all VHS and DVD films housed at the HIL Circulation Desk (with location designation HIL-CIRAV) have been moved temporarily to a basement storage area.

IMPORTANT – HIL Closing Thursday May 10th At 6 Pm

Due to a power outage required by renovation work at Harriet Irving Library, the Library will be closing at 6pm on Thursday, May 10, opening again as usual at 8am on Friday, May 11.
