The Lightboard Studio is a video recording and streaming space that uses a 66" height adjustable lightboard - an illuminated, forward facing glass pane upon which you can write with erasable markers and annotate projected images in real time. The studio comes equipped with a 4K camera, microphone system, PC, adjustable lights, and dual 27" confidence monitor configuration. All you need to bring are your ideas, presentation materials, and a USB stick (though we will lend you one) if you plan to record .
Adding presentation materials to the lightboard
The lightboard enables the projection of presentations, whether generated in Powerpoint, Google Slides, Prezi, or other applications, onto its surface. The key to doing this successfully is to ensure graphics and text are presented on a black background and positioned in relation to where you will be standing. If you are using coloured line drawings on a white background, invert the colours in a photo/graphic editing application such as Photoshop, Paint, or Gimp.

Before you begin
It is recommended that, prior to recording or streaming, you book a 30 minute practice to familiarize yourself with the technology. Please contact Marc Bragdon (mbragdon@unb.ca) with any questions or, if desired, to schedule an orientation.
