Library Closed – July 14

Due to a planned power outage in Head Hall on Saturday, July 14, all campus IT services will be unavailable between 7:00 a.m. – midnight. Consequently, Harriet Irving Library will be closed on July 14 and will re-open on Monday, July 16 at 8:00am.

New Borrowing Policy – July 16

UNB Libraries has implemented a new borrowing policy that becomes effective on July 16, 2007.

The most notable changes to the policy are:

Temporary Relocation Of HIL Entrance (July 23-Aug. 17)

Beginning Monday, July 23, the main entrance/lobby area of the Harriet Irving Library (HIL) will be closed in order to complete the final phase of the new Learning Commons project.

Public access to HIL will be via a new door at the rear of the building. Directional signs will be posted to alert patrons to the changes.

Library Cafe Closed During Renovations

Engineering Library Closes At Noon

Due to a water main shutdown, the Engineering Library will close at 12 noon on Friday, July 27. The library will re-open on Monday, July 30 at 8:00 am. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
