A staple of our print reference collection, the Oxford English Dictionary (OED), recently made its online debut on the UNB Libraries’ website. The Times describes the OED as “the ultimate authority of the English language as well as a history of English speech and thought from its infancy to the present day.”

Cool Tools @ HIL Learning Commons

Registration is now open for the Fall 2007 Cool Tools workshop series. From finding books, journal articles, newspaper stories, and primary historical sources, to using maps, legal sources, and sci/tech information, to avoiding plagiarism and using RefWorks, the Fall 2007 Cool Tools series of 50-minute workshops will cover many of the basics.

Scouting Exhibit

UNB Libraries has extended the exhibit entitled “A Century of Scouting” that celebrates the centennial anniversary (1907-2007) of scouting for an extra two weeks.

Fall Hours Of Operation

New Borrowing Policy

UNB Libraries has a new borrowing policy that became effective on July 16, 2007. The most notable changes to the policy are:

HIL Closed Wednesday, August 29 Until 1pm
