UNB Libraries is providing a free trial of the RefWorks bibliography manager until the end of December. RefWorks is a web-based version of bibliographic software packages such as Reference Manager, ProCite, and Endnote.

An educator and poet with an interest in the history of education and an archivist with a passion for school books will deliver the 14th Milham Lecture at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton on Wednesday, 24 November. The lecture will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the K.C. Irving Theatre, Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre, 1350 Regent St.

Engineering Index Backfile Is Available

Access to Engineering Index Backfile has been enabled to provide the most comprehensive overview of the last 120 years of engineering literature. The Backfile contains references of major engineering innovations pioneered throughout the 19th and 20th centuries with citations on topics such as the first internal combustion engine, the foundations of aviation, telecommunications and computing.

The LinkSource link resolver has been enabled in most of UNB Libraries’ indexing and abstracting databases, including Academic Search Elite, ERIC, Biological Abstracts, Compendex, MathSciNet, Historical Abstracts, Business Source Premier, and many more.

Great New Business Database!

UNB Libraries now provide access to the world’s largest full text business database, Business Source Premier (BSP). This database provides full text for more than 7,400 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for nearly 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications.

Dissertations Now Available In Fulltext From Library Website

UNB Libraries are pleased to provide access to ProQuest Digital Dissertations (PQDD), a licensed database providing fulltext access to over 450,000 dissertations published since 1997. (This replaces the citations-only Digital Dissertations previously available at UNB.)
