Avoiding Plagiarism – Jan. 27

When should you cite something? Is paraphrasing OK? How about copy & paste? Just what are citation styles and when should you use them?

Students are invited to attend a free “Avoiding Plagiarism” workshop which includes general academic writing and citation tips, with a focus on how the APA citation style – the standard most often used in the social sciences.

When: Tuesday, January 27 at 2:30-3:20pm

International Film History Series – Thursday Evenings

UNB Libraries and the Department of English invite students, staff and faculty to their International Film History Series to be held on Thursday evenings during the Winter term.

The majority of screenings will take place in the Milham Room (Room 100) in the Harriet Irving Library Learning Commons. Showtime is 6:00 PM. Admission is free.
