New Dual Monitor Lab

UNB Libraries are pleased to announce the completion of a new dual monitor lab on the third floor of the Harriet Irving Library, in room 310!

Be sure to check out this newly developed space where you can study, learn, and create on brand new Dell workstation class computers with dual monitors!

If you have any questions about the new lab, the Government Documents, Data & Maps staff (3rd floor HIL) and the Research Help Desk staff (1st floor HIL) are available to help you.

Pizza And Plagiarism At The HIL

The pizza is free, and the workshop just might prove invaluable!

Why do we cite? What does citation have to do with plagiarism? This FREE workshop will help you to understand the importance of citations in your academic writing and will teach you how to use them properly.  You’ll get some practice identifying plagiarism, some tips to keep your work clean, and a couple of FREE SLICES OF PIZZA to top it off!

Pizza and Plagiarism is a joint initiative offered by UNB Libraries and the UNBF Student Union.

No pre-registration required.  Just show up, learn, and eat!

This session includes a brief overview of the UNB Copyright Guidelines and provides an opportunity for Staff and Faculty to ask specific or general questions about distributing content to students in the classroom or online.

Copyright sessions with an emphasis on the needs of course instructors continue to be offered periodically. Additional sessions will be added in response to demand. Please let us know if you or your department or faculty has an interest in having an additional session scheduled.

Online Access Outage: Sunday, February 1
