WILU 2002 – the 31st Annual Workshop on Instruction in Library Use – will be held May 13-15, 2002 at the Wu Conference Centre at the University of New Brunswick’s Fredericton campus.
Our theme, River Run: Trends in Library Instruction, is based on the beautiful St. John River which flows through downtown Fredericton, one of Canada’s most beautiful and historic capital cities. Like the river, today’s library instruction issues are large, ever-present, and constantly fluid as methods, delivery media, and user requirements change.
Plenary speakers include Heidi Julien, School of Library and Information Studies, University of Alberta, and Roy Tennant, eScholarship Web & Services Design, California Digital Library, University of California. Practitioner presentations, ePoster sessions, and roundtables will discuss and explore the future directions of library instruction.
