UNB Libraries has just acquired the online version of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography Online is an electronic version of the 60 volume printed set. As of May 2005, the online version includes 10,000 portrait illustrations and more than 55,000 biographies of British men and women dating from the fourth century to the year 2000.
Online updates occur three times a year (January, May, and October), and provide new biographies, themes for reference, illustrations, improved website features and corrections and additions to articles already published.
To access the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography Online go to the UNB Libraries’ homepage, select e-Resources >> Reference Materials >> then Biographies from the list of categories. We are limited to three simultaneous users, so please remember to log off when you have completed your search.
