New measures to enter Libraries - UCard (Card or App)

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

New measures are now in place at UNB Libraries to protect the health of the university community, aligned with recent changes to provincial Public Health Measures and Mandatory Order Regulations.

When entering any of UNB Libraries you will be asked for your UNB UCard or the UCard Mobile ID app, either by "tapping in" or showing your UNB ID.

You may also use your UNB SafeApp to show your vaccine approval status along with government issued picture ID.  Library staff are aware that some students may not yet have activated their UCard ID, and will support you over the next few days to ensure that UNB students in compliance with the COVID Testing Policy do not lose access to the Libraries.

St. Thomas users will be asked for their STU SafeApp and either UCard or picture ID.

Please also be aware that UNB Libraries are currently closed to members of the broader community.

Please be prepared so that you don’t encounter delays when entering your library.

Thank you for your cooperation.
