UNB Libraries has acquired The Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology in both print and electronic formats.
This encyclopedia is a comprehensive, research-based tool with contributions from over 900 noted researchers in over 50 countries. It includes more than 550 articles highlighting current concepts, issues and emerging technologies. Special attention is paid to technical and managerial terms.
The print version is available in the Engineering Library (ENG-REFENC Z1006 .E566 2005). The encyclopedia is also available electronically from our library website by selecting e-Resources, then Reference Materials, and choosing Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology from the title list provided.
The online version searches words from the article titles, abstracts and keywords. It is advisable to search for the articles online even while reading the print edition.
Questions about this resource may be directed to Doris Rauch (englib@unb.ca) at the Engineering Library.
