Cool Tools Winter Schedule Announced

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

Take a few minutes to browse our Winter schedule of Cool Tools sessions at //www.lib.unb.ca/instruction/CoolTools.html

For those new to UNB & STU, Cool Tools is a series of instruction sessions designed to help students, faculty and staff make the most of library resources, including our licensed electronic databases.

Sessions are either one hour or an hour and a half long, and are free, but registration is required. We also offer some insights and advice on using free Internet resources like Google.

This term, you’ll find that some sessions like “Hunting the Elusive Journal Article,” cover a range of resources, while others, such as “LION Hunting” and “Introduction to Refworks,” concentrate on one particular research tool.

New Cool Tools sessions include “Find that Tune: Music Resources at UNB,” “Cochrane Reviews for Evidence-Based Health Care,” and “Finding Statistics in the Social Sciences and Humanities.”

For a complete schedule, click the Cool Tools@UNB Libraries logo on our UNB Libraries home page, or go to the UNB Training site at //training.unb.ca/ to view the schedule and register for sessions.
