There is a selection of books published by the Folio Society for sale in the HIL lobby. They are in very good condition and priced at $10 per volume. Books may be paid for at the Commons Service desk.

This free public screening will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the Milham Room (Rm. #100), Harriet Irving Learning Commons, UNBF Campus (free parking).

End-of-Semester Book Sale

All books in our continuing used book sale have been reduced to just $1 each. There is a wide variety of subject matter.

The book sale area is located in the basement of the Harriet Irving Library, directly opposite the bathrooms.

2012 Library Showcase For St. Thomas University

At the start of the new year, all St. Thomas University faculty and staff members are invited to attend the 2012 Library Showcase of resources and services, this year co-sponsored for the first time by UNB Libraries and the St. Thomas University Research Office.

Copyright Information Session

A session on Copyright is being offered on Wednesday, December 14 at 9:30am in Harriet Irving Library’s Board Room, Rm. 206.  The session will focus on UNB’s new Copyright Policy and Guidelines, and how copying activities within the University are affected.  Please bring your questions.

Library Course Reserves

Course instructors are invited to use the new course reserve system developed and recently launched by the Libraries.  Our new system offers many enhancements, including the ability to organize readings by week, linking to online readings, and the ability for students to log in and access their reserve readings for all courses in which they are enrolled.

German Contemporary Cinema

UNBF Libraries and the Department of Culture and Language Studies invite students, staff, faculty and the community to their German Contemporary Cinema Series to be held on Monday evenings.

The screenings will take place in the Milham Room (Room 100) in the Harriet Irving Library Learning Commons.

Showtime is 5:30 pm.  Admission is free.
