The Canadian Library Association/Association canadienne des bibliotheques (CLA/ACB) is pleased to announce that October has been designated as Canadian Library Month.

Our library staff are proud to assist in providing the foundational research support our community members need to achieve their educational goals.

Winning books from the 27th annual Alcuin Society Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada are currently on display in the H.R. Stewart Exhibition Room, 5^th floor, Harriet Irving Library.

The exhibition will continue until 13 November 2009. Viewing hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

UNB’s Writing Centre is offering drop-in evening hours for students in Harriet Irving Library’s Learning Commons (Room 116) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-10:00pm.

In July 2009, the American Psychological Association (APA) published a new Sixth edition of their Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

Several errors have been discovered in the 1st printing of the Sixth edition and APA is providing a PDF noting the corrections at:
