Archives and Special Collections invite all patrons to view their exhibit “From Hired Help to Highest Office: Reflections on the History of Women at UNB” in the H.R. Stewart Exhibition Room — 5th floor of the Harriet Irving Library.

CompuSmart Winner Announced

The draw for our $250 Shopping Spree provided courtesy of CompuSmart (Fredericton) took place on November 20 at the Harriet Irving Library.

Jocelyne Thompson, the Head of Public Services for UNB Libraries, did the honours and reached into our barrel of approx. 300 entries to draw out the name of the lucky winner — Shauna Fox. Shauna is a full-time student at UNB.

HIL Moves Forward With Learning Commons Project

The Harriet Irving Library (HIL) is in the process of transforming its first floor space into a more flexible, innovative environment where members of our campus communities can come together to learn, create and share knowledge.

The HIL Learning Commons is a multi-phase project — one of its goals is to provide additional seating for approx. 200 students.

Science Library Hours Change — November 18

On Saturday November 18, the Science and Forestry Library will be open from 5 pm to 9 pm only. This is due to an electrical power outage scheduled for the IUC Forestry and IUC Physics/Administration buildings between 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
