The library has a selection of great resources available, including the Naxos Music Library, an online collection of over 125,000 tracks of classical, jazz and world music. This session provides an overview of music-related resources available at the library, with special focus on using the Naxos Music Library.

McCain Foundation Makes $1 Million Investment In UNB Libraries

On Feb. 17, 2006, the McCain Foundation made a $1 million donation to UNB libraries. The gift to the Forging Our Futures campaign is supporting new book acquisitions at Fredericton’s Harriet Irving, Science and Forestry and Engineering libraries and at Saint John’s Ward Chipman Library.

Concert Warm-up With Naxos Music Library

Symphony New Brunswick will be appearing on February 27 (Saint John), February 28 (Fredericton) and March 1 (Moncton) with conductor Stephane Laforest and violin soloist Jeremy VanSlyke in a concert of light classics, including works by Vivaldi, Bach, Rossini, Brahms, Gershwin, Mancini and more.

Think Access Wheel Chair Basketball Game

A fundraising wheelchair basketball game to raise money for the Grad Class project wheelchair access for the Harriet Irving Library will be held on Thursday, Mar. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Main Gym, LBR. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
