Thanks 2005 Science Graduating Class!

In April 2005, when many others were thinking about exams and postgraduation life, Celine Pelletier of the graduating class executive, came by the Science and Forestry Library. She wanted to know what she and her classmates could do to help the library where many of them had spent many hours over the years.

Irving Pulls Content From Newscan

In a surprise move, Brunswick News, a subsidiary of J.D. Irving Limited, has pulled all content from the newspaper database vendor, Newscan. UNB Libraries is working on a solution and will advise patrons of an alternative as soon as one becomes known.

At present this action affects online access to the following Irving-owned newspapers:

Relais Upgrade This Sunday (Jan. 15)

Due to a scheduled system upgrade, UNB Libraries’ Relais Document Delivery form will be temporarily unavailable on Sunday (January 15). The upgrade is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am and it is anticipated that the process will be completed by 12:00 noon.

Access The Globe And Mail Archives

UNB Libraries is pleased to announce that access has been obtained to the archives of The Globe and Mail. The database, called “ProQuest Historical Newspapers: The Globe and Mail,” contains complete coverage of The Globe and Mail newspaper from 1844 to December 2000 (over 1.4 millions pages).
