The Canadian Foundation for Innovation and the federal government have selected September 11, 2001 as the official “launch” date for the Canadian National Site Licensing Project. A media event celebrating the national launch of CNSLP will be held in Halifax on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at approximately 2:00 pm Atlantic Daylight Time.

Twenty four UNB and STU faculty from across the disciplines joined 10 librarians on August 14th at the Harriet Irving Library for a day-long workshop. Topics covered included instruction and research services for faculty, an overview of specialized research tools and collections of particular interest to researchers, and a discussion of copyright and plagiarism issues.
