UNB Libraries has purchased several excellent new databases for faculty and student research:

  • Environment Index
  • International Security & Counter Terrorism Reference Center
  • Social Work Abstracts
  • Communication & Mass Media Complete

Access is available via the library website www.lib.unb.ca >> e-Resources >> Indexes & Abstracts >> select the title from the drop-down menu. Off-campus users will need their login and PIN. Take our databases for a test drive and see what you think.

New Cool Tools Schedule

Registration is now open for the Winter 2008 Cool Tools workshop series. Several new workshops will be offered this term, as well as a repeat of the most popular workshops from last Fall. The Winter lineup includes:

  • Discovering eBooks (NEW!)
  • Find Books Fast
  • UNB Film Collection (NEW!)
  • Effective Internet Searching
  • Avoiding Plagiarism
  • Current Awareness (NEW!)
