UNB Libraries Invite Feedback On Collections Development Policy

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

A policy intended to govern collections development at the Harriet Irving, Science & Forestry and Engineering libraries was drafted over the fall and winter months. The policy has since been approved by Library Board and endorsed by the Senate Library Committee and we hope to present the final version to the Fredericton Senate in May.

Before finalizing the policy and presenting it to Senate, the library wishes to invite feedback. Consultation with the departmental library representatives is planned and meetings with other interested parties can be arranged upon request. Written comments are also welcome.

To make arrangements for a meeting, please contact Jocelyne Thompson, Head, Collections and Public Services, UNB Libraries, by phone at 458-7053 or at jlt@unb.ca, or send written comments to her attention at the Harriet Irving Library, Room 315.

The policy statement can be viewed at //www.lib.unb.ca/collections/CollectionsPolicy.pdf.
