The new version of the library website was launched on August 11th.
The new interface offers a more streamlined design. Features include optional menu navigation, personalized font sizing, simplified search interfaces, expanded help features, and “Ask a Librarian.” The home page also features supplementary narrative-based navigation in an attempt to help direct those less familiar with the library to the desired resources. Test subjects in our usability study commented that the new site is much more intuitive and easier to use.
Take the new site for a test drive and let us know what you think. Comments can be directed to email@example.com.
Faculty/staff/students who would like a guided tour of the site in the air-conditioned comfort of the library’s Information Technology Lab, please contact Jamie MacKenzie (447-3075) for details on available sessions.
