Users of Agricola, Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts, ERIC (CSA version), GeoRef, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, and the Sage fulltext Criminology and Nursing collections take note: the database provider is changing its search platform. The new one is called “Illumina” and is available now in all the databases. There is a link to it at the top of the quick search screen: “Coming soon: CSA Illumina — Try it now…”. Illumina will replace the current search platform completely as of January 31st.
CSA says that the new platform was designed “to provide a simple, more user-friendly approach to searching for novice users while maintaining powerful options for users who require them.” Go to “Help & Support” from the Illumina search screen for information and searching aids, including online tutorials and a printable Quick Reference Card.
If you have any questions about Illumina, please contact Frances Giberson at fgiberso@unb.ca or 453-4602.
