JSTOR, an online archive of scholarly collections provided by UNB Libraries, has advised that they are scheduled to release a new search engine and interface on January 19th, 2005.
Barring any unforeseen technical difficulties, the new search engine will replace the existing one beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. EST.
JSTOR note that this new search engine will offer much improved speed, the ability to search all available content by default, and more flexible options for searching word variations.
