This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

UNB Libraries is proud to present faculty, students and staff with a new online bibliography devoted to the study of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Iter: Gateway to the Middle Ages and Renaissance is a project of the University of Toronto. Iter is the Latin term for ‘a journey” or “a path.”

The Iter bibliography covers literature from 400-1700 CE and provides citations to more than 600,000 journal articles, books, collections of essays, and reviews. Updated daily and with thousands of new records added annually, this powerful research tool will be of great use to scholars with interests in the Middle Ages and /or the Renaissance. Iter’s future plans also include providing access to dissertations, online resources, and works of art and music.

Under the Iter banner, the following resources are also available:

International Directory of Renaissance and Reformation Associations and Institutes
This directory is comprised of entries found in the final print edition (2nd, updated ed., 1993), many of which were updated for the online edition, in 2001.
