Some time ago, former UNB librarian Suzanne Chaney made a donation of several thousand dollars to UNB specifying that the gift be used to acquire books “good for the soul.” We have taken this to mean books that satisfy intellectual curiosity, nurture an inquiring mind, inspire, or simply – if there’s anything simple about that – provide pleasure and amusement. We have tried to select and acquire titles to suit all tastes and interests.
Now that the summer is almost here and we can all look forward to at least a little rest and relaxation, UNB Libraries invite you to pick up some summer reading from amongst these offerings. And if you think you would might like to help us with further acquisitions, please use the purchase request form to make your suggestions. Enjoy!
