INSPEC Now Online

UNB Libraries is pleased to announce the addition of INSPEC and INSPEC Archives (1898-present) to our online databases. INSPEC will be of particular interest to anyone accessing scientific and technical literature in the fields of physics, electrical engineering, electronics and computer science.

INSPEC (1969-present) includes over 3,000 scientific and technical journals and 2,000 conference proceedings plus books, reports and dissertations. Over 8 million records and 400,000 records are added annually.

INSPEC ARCHIVES:
INSPEC has digitized the entire collection of Science Abstracts Journals (back to Volume One) dating from 1898 to 1968. The Science Abstracts Journals were the precursor to the INSPEC database. INSPEC Archives is comprised of over 870,000 records and offers electronic access to over 70 years of international scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, computing and control engineering.

To access INSPEC from UNB Libraries’ homepage, select e-Resources >> Indexes and Abstracts and choose INSPEC from the drop down “Browse by Title” menu.
