“Banned Books” Display In HIL

UNB Libraries is celebrating “Freedom to Read” week by displaying a selection of banned or challenged books.  The display entitled “Closing Books Shuts Out Ideas”is situated directly in front of the Research Help Desk (main floor) in the Harriet Irving Library (HIL) Learning Commons.  

Drop by and celebrate the freedom to choose and the importance of ensuring the availability of unorthodox viewpoints to all who wish to read them.
