Anthropology Plus

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

UNB Libraries is proud to offer a new international electronic index to UNB and STU researchers called Anthropology Plus.

Anthropology Plus is considered one of the most highly respected and authoritative sources for written work in the fields of both cultural and physical anthropology and is a key component of research in all anthropology, archaeology, and related disciplines.

The database indexes bibliographic materials combining Anthropological Literature from Harvard University’s Tozzer Library and Anthropological Index from the Royal Anthropological Institute in the UK.

Within this database, researchers will also find relevant materials to support course work and research in ethnic studies, art history, history of religion, sociology, international and area studies, and more.

Coverage is from the late 19th century to the present and includes all core periodicals in the field in addition to lesser-known journals.

To access the database, we invite you to select Anthropology Plus from the title list on the UNB Libraries’ Indexes and Abstracts page at //www.lib.unb.ca/eresources/Indexes.php.

Any comments or queries about Anthropology Plus can be referred to Leanne Wells, Librarian for Anthropology.
