A new Collections Development Policy was approved by the University Senate on November 25, 2003. The policy governs the selection and acquisition of library materials and the maintenance of collections at UNB Libraries (Fredericton). The policy attempts to outline objectives, assign roles and responsibilities, and address issues ranging from resource allocation to reliance on cooperative arrangements with other libraries.
