Web of Science Extends Back to 1983

Since ISI’s Web of Science was first introduced in 2000 as part of the Canadian National Site Licensing Project, faculty have been enthusiastic users of the product and active lobbyists for more content. As a result of a recent purchase by UNB Libraries, 20 years of backfiles are now available for searching. According to ISI, this acquisition places UNB on an equal footing with other research institutions in North America who on average hold a 21-year backfile.

Web of Science includes all the major citation indexes regularly consulted by researchers: the Science Citation Index Expanded, the Social Sciences Citation Index and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index.

Web of Science can be accessed from the e-Reference page under any of citation indexes in the title list or directly from the bookmarkable Web of Science record.
