As of September 24th you will see some changes to the search interfaces of the EbscoHost Databases.
Under the Basic Search, underneath the search dialogue box, you will now find options permitting control over searching as a “standard search”, “all words,” “any words,” or “exact phrase.” This is similar to making the selection in Quest for keyword, phrase or exact searching.
Under the Advanced Search you will now find a “guided style” which offers drop down boxes enabling field searching. The choices from the default fields change with each database so that searchers can now take advantage of specialized indexing/abstracting. This is similar using the drop down boxes in the Quest power search.
