Harriet Irving Library Marks Freedom To Read Week

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

Freedom to Read Week, February 24 – March 2, encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

To mark this important week, the Reference Department has assembled a number of ‘banned books’ in the display cases on the first floor, Harriet Irving Library, opposite the “Middle Ages” display. We invite you to have a look.

For more information, please contact Patricia Johnston, Reference Department, Harriet Irving Library at 458-7058 or at johnston@unb.ca.
