Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG)

The TLG allows searching the full text of all ancient Greek texts surviving from the period beginning with Homer (c. 8th century BCE) down to the fall of the Roman Empire and further beyond into the Byzantine period. Topics include Greek literature, history, and culture.

Searching is accomplished using Latin transliteration. Users may download and install a polytonic Greek font on their own computer to facilitate searching TLG in Greek. See this link for instructions: http://www.tlg.uci.edu/help/fonts.php
This new TLG interface requires each user to create a user profile with a username and password in addition to IP authentication. Users who connect via an authorized IP will be given access to the full corpus. - Coverage/Publication Date:
