History: The motivation for founding the Veterans' Club was to facilitate the rehabilitation of veterans attending the University, as well as to provide vocational guidance and academic orientation. Attendance soared in its second year, as upwards of 140 veterans turned up to first meeting of the year in the fall of 1945.
Any honorably discharged personnel of any active Service of any allied Nation could become a member.
Activities: The Veterans' Club organized a Veterans' Dance, using the funds raised to send cigarettes overseas to active New Brunswick regiments. They periodically organized "Smokers" consisting of songs, jokes, and refreshments, to which some faculty were also invited.
