History: Organized for the purposes of promoting safe hunting and fishing through instruction on firearms, survival, navigation, and water safety. This group also organized hunting and fishing trips and familiarized members with ideas of wildlife and conservation.
Activities: The group organized hunting parties, purchased equipment, and its Dance Committee organized the "Hunters' Hop" at which a trophy was presented to the member that shot the heaviest deer during the most recent season.
