History: The primary objective of the Singapore Students Association was to promote the culture of Singapore, and to raise awareness about the group. Their long term goal was to get as many members as possible; membership was open to all students.
Activities: The group organized several activities each year, including The Singapore Experience: an event that included an Asian lunch, the sale of handicrafts and jewelery, a display of recent publications concerning South-East Asia, audio visual presentations, and a display of posters and exibits depicting Singapore's history and lifestyle in the 19th and 20th centuries.
