History: The Sigma Lambda Beta Rho was founded in an effort to enhance camaraderie among out-of-town male University students living in the Lady Beaverbrook Residence.

Activities: The society sponsored dances throughout the year. They participated in several in-house and University-wide competitions, including ping-pong, bridge, and swimming. The residence was furnished with a pool, squash court, and ping-pong table.
