Named for: Frederick Magee, businessman from Port Elgin, NB; philanthropist; member of the New Brunswick cabinet and president of the executive council; and a graduate of UNB who provided funding to start the Business Administration degree course.

Notes: Magee House is the twin building to McLeod House. Construction on the building was halted in June 1969 when cracks were found in the foundations of the buildings. During construction on the building in August 1969 a worker, J. Brian Young, was killed when he fell from from a seven story scaffold. The building was originally under the purview of the New Brunswick Residence Cooperative, with UNB assuming management in 1973. Magee House has the capacity for 103 married couples.
