James Scott Mullan Fonds-Series 2

Series 2: Vital statistics records and account books [textual records]. -- 1861-1910; predominant 1861-1868; 1885-1899. -- 3 cm.

Scope and content: Series includes sets of original documents relating to three congregations associated with Rev. J.S. Mullan:

Sixty-five (65) marriage licences, largely (46 licences) from the parish of Stanley, New Brunswick, but including licences from St. Mary's parish, Douglas parish, and miscellaneous others.

Baptismal register and account book for the Clarke Twp., Ontario congregation. Includes a listing of church members, as at 31 December 1869, pledging to raise a purse to present to Hugh Henry Sharp, recently precentor of the congregation. [re. Sharp see also Series 3, file 3].

A hand-written, census-like document relating to families, likely in Osnabruck Twp., Ont.
