Notes: Dr. Weiner taught physics to virtually all engineering students between 1948 and 1975. In 1953-1954, he became the first UNB professor to be granted a sabbatical leave for overseas research. He went to the laboratory at Royal Holloway College, University of London. In 1953, Theodore Weiner was one of Fredericton's first post-war immigrants to receive Canadian citizenship.
