Scope and Content: This series contains a set of eight volumes of phonetic analysis which Kinloch labelled as "phonetics". They appear to encompass the work of several researchers including Rex Wilson, W. S. Avis, Bernard Bloch and A. Murray Kinloch. The contents include biographical information regarding the readers on the tapes, brief descriptions of the content of the tapes, phonetic analysis of answers given, and blank sample analysis forms.
Arrangement is arbitrary.

Other: The sound recordings which correspond to these volumes are found in series 2, sub-series 2 and series 11, sub-series 2 where they are integrated into other numbering systems created by Kinloch.
