Series 2: Draft Manuscripts, Outlines and Other Material concerning Enemies of the State.  A Study of the Intellectual Resistance in Nazi Germany. -- c.1950-1951 -- 21 cm of textual material.

Scope and Content: This series contains a number of draft manuscripts, as well as proposals, outlines and a Guggenheim Fellowship Application for the book which Jean Hübener worked extensively on, but never published, entitled Enemies of the State. A Study of the Intellectual Resistance in Nazi Germany.  Also included is information concerning the Guggenheim Fellowship and a legal agreement between Jean Hübener and the MacMillan Company.

Title: Title based on contents of the series.

Related Material: There are a number of research notes, clippings and citations which appear to have been used for the writing of the manuscript, which can be found in series 3, sub-series 2.

There are several publications relating to the resistance movement in Nazi Germany which can be found in series 7.

There is correspondence concerning Enemies of the State.  A Study of the Intellectual Resistance in Nazi Germany, which can be found in series 4.
