Archives & Special Collections is pleased to host the Fredericton Region Museum’s travelling exhibition “War of 1812: A New Brunswick Perspective.”

Curated by Bob Dallison (author of A neighbourly war: New Brunswick and the War of 1812), this exhibit highlights how New Brunswick was affected by the war and the role this province played in its outcome.

The display consists of five bilingual banners containing text and images, replicas of two military uniforms that were worn by British officers and members of the New Brunswick Militia during the war, and four panels containing images of War of 1812 firearms and swords.

The display can be viewed in the H.R. Stewart Room (5th Floor, Harriet Irving Library), Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. until 31 October 2012.
