Tribute To Ward Chipman

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

The Ward Chipman Library opened in 1969 and was one of the first buildings to be constructed on the UNB Saint John Campus at Tucker Park.  In August 2011, the library moved across the campus from the Ward Chipman building into the new Hans W. Klohn Commons.

The Commons houses not only the library but also the Student Technology Centre, the Writing Centre, the Math and Science Help Centre, the BMO Financial Group Smart Classroom, and the Commons Cafe, as well as over 70 student computers, nine group study rooms, and lots of individual study spaces.

The video below pays tribute to the Ward Chipman Library, displays images of the move, and shows off the beautiful new Commons building.
