7th Annual UNB Libraries’ Faculty Institute

Back again by popular demand, our annual Faculty Institute will help you gear up for your fall teaching and research.</p.

At this summer’s Institute, faculty will get an overview of all the major new electronic resources UNB Libraries have purchased in recent months: our latest online reference tools, new e-newspapers, recently acquired journal indexing databases, and more.

We will also provide an introduction to new ways of integrating library resources into your online courses in Blackboard.

Finally, since we realize that libraries are much more than just access to electronic information sources, we will give a preview of the Harriet Irving Library’s new Learning Commons, which is due to open in the Fall.

As usual, coffee and lunch is on us! This event is co-hosted by UNB Libraries and the UNB Centre for Enhanced Teaching and Learning.

Date/Location: Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 9:00 – 2:00 at Brian Mulroney Hall, STU, Room 202
