Commons Enters Final Phase

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

The Harriet Irving Library (HIL) is undergoing the final phase of its Learning Commons renovation. This last stage of the project, which will continue over the summer months, will see the current Circulation Desk and Periodical Reading Room areas transformed into a commons for research, learning, and sharing of ideas.

To accommodate renovations, the Circulation Desk has moved to a temporary location across from the HIL coffee shop – Gutenbrews. HIL’s book drop has also moved to the west side of the building (signs are posted to alert patrons).

Please accept our apologies for any disruptions to library service necessitated by these rejuvenation plans. We look forward to having you join us for the grand opening this Fall.
