Temporary Relocation Of HIL Entrance And Book Drop

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

Starting Wednesday, June 21st, the main entrance to the Harriet Irving Library (HIL) will be closed as construction of a new barrier free ramp proceeds to the next phase. The Book Drop has also been relocated to the back of the building.

During regular hours of opening, entrance to HIL will be afforded using the tunnels from Keirstead Hall and Tilley Hall. The staff door at the back of the library will also serve as a general entrance until construction is completed, sometime in late July. Directional signs will be posted throughout the building.

Campus Security will monitor the back entrance and will be checking bags as people leave the building. Visitors are asked to have library materials with date due slips readily available for verification.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience these temporary arrangements may cause.
