Irving Fund Applications Due By January 31st

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

UNB Libraries’ Irving Fund provides for the acquisition of monographs in support of new courses. The fund was launched in 1997 and has since then provided financial support to 249 new courses. The fund is an important source of new books for the library collections.

Once again faculty preparing new courses are invited to apply to this fund to strengthen collections in their subject areas. A grant of $1,000 is automatically allocated for each new course approved either by the Senate Curriculum Committee or the Executive Committee of the School of Graduate Studies.

The application form, containing more details about the fund and eligibility criteria, can be viewed at //www.lib.unb.ca/collections/. Deadline for application is January 31st.

If you require further information or assistance with your application, please contact Jocelyne Thompson, Head, Collections and Public Services, at 458-7053 or at jlt@unb.ca.
