CNSLP Deal Means Savings And New Content For UNB

This news post is more than one year old. Some information may have changed.

The Canadian National Site Licensing Project (CNSLP) has successfully negotiated a license agreement with the publisher Elsevier. The license provides access to more than 1,500 full-text journals through Elsevier’s ScienceDirect platform. Please see the attached press release.

While UNB Libraries were already providing electronic access to the Elsevier titles, the national deal means a substantial savings to UNB in 2002/2003. It also provides access to approximately 150 Harcourt Health journals that UNB did not previously license. [Harcourt Health journals are curently only available to on-campus users directly from the ScienceDirect website under journals.]

This is an important achievement on the part of CNSLP and one that benefits 61 participating universities across the country.

For more information, please see the attached press release.
